As a Location Mixer I have an eclectic mix of experience that includes documentaries; feature length movies and shorts on film, video, DV, and HD; and EFP/ENG work for television, video, and the internet. For a list of my narrative and documentary credits please visit my credits page. My EFP/ENG work has included shoots for networks such as NBC, ESPN, BET, The History Channel, HGTV, and DIY Network. I have worked on professional and pro-sumer cameras like the Panasonic HDX-900, SDX-900, HVX-200, DVX-100, Canon XL-1, XL-2, Sony HVR-V1U, HVR-Z1U, D-35, D-50, and HDW-F900 Cine Alta. I also have experience with double-system recording for film.
As a Location Mixer I bring the ear of a Sound Editor to any shoot I work on. I am constantly thinking about what I could be doing to record sound that I would want were I editing the sound. This can include making an additional wild (without rolling picture) recording of dialogue, recording extra sound effects, or recording sounds from background talent (extras).
Below is a list of my equipment package. When necessary I can rent additional equipment from other location mixers to ensure I am properly equipped for your shoot. All equipment is also available for rent. If you have any questions about my equipment or rates, or would like to speak further about my location sound experience, don't hesitate to contact me.
